At Swanby Law Offices, we try to take all the uncertainty out of buying or selling real estate. Our flat rate pricing is clear and concise and makes legal fees transparent to you, the client, so that there are no surprises when you pay your bill. These flat rate prices include everything in a standard residential real estate transaction in Calgary. There are no additional charges for disbursements, couriers, searches, payouts of one mortgage, or registration costs of your transfer and one mortgage.
If you are out of town or the transaction includes a power of attorney, corporate signing, assignment of rents, title insurance, encroachment agreements, or obtaining an estoppel certificate or real property report there may be additional charges. Please speak to the lawyer to discuss any additional components of your transaction.
An added perk is that we will be able to meet with you on weekends, and evenings or at your own home in order to make the process as convenient as possible.
